Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas has charged Rs 80 Cr, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan's hefty fees revealed!

MUMBAI: Telugu superstar Prabhas is one of the highest-paid actors of Kalki 2898 AD. Today, June 27, marks the official release of the much-awaited movie. According to sources, Prabhas was paid Rs 80 crore for his role in the Nag Ashwin-directed movie. According to a report, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan received an equal sum for the movie. Additionally, it has been said that Kalki 2898 AD was produced with a Rs 600 crore budget.

A Jagran report claims that Prabhas usually charges close to Rs 150 crore for each film. That being said, Prabhas paid half of his costs for Kalki in 2898 AD. According to the report, Prabhas took a payment of Rs 80 crore.

However, the report stated that Deepika requested 20 crores rupees for her maidan Telugu project. In Kalki 2898, Deepika portrays Sumathi, a lady carrying a kid who will bring about a revolutionary change in the world. She appears to be carrying a big baby bump and defending her child from harm in the trailer.

It is said Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan were paid Rs 20 crore each, the same amount as Deepika, for their performances in Kalki 2898 AD. Amitabh essays the role of the mighty Ashwatthama.

The trailers have shown him in his full glory and fans who watched the first day first show have also praised Big B for his performance. Meanwhile, Kamal essays the role of Kali, the villain who is out to kill Sumathi’s baby in the film.

There has been a great opening for Kalki in 2898 AD. Across all languages in the nation, the movie has already sold over 19 lakh tickets. Experts in the film industry anticipate that Nag Ashwin's film will begin with a net opening of over Rs 100 crore, which would smash numerous records at the box office.

The Telugu language alone has seen over 15 lakh tickets sold for Kalki 2898 AD, according to a report on Sacnilk.com. The movie's enormous advance sales have already brought in almost Rs 50 crore.
