MUMBAI : Karan Arjun marks 30 years and on this occasion, Rakesh Roshan is all set to re-release the first movie that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together. Karan Arjun was a movie that really made a place in people’s heart and mind and with the announcement of Karan Arjun, the makers have once again prepared to cast their spell on audience.
Along with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features the power-packed ensemble of Rakhee, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni and Amrish Puri.

Karan Arjun will be released on 22nd November, 2024. The movie will be re-released globally on the same date. This movie will become the largest re-release in India with an International re-release too.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Rakesh Roshan revealed some interesting facts about the movie and the casting of it.
Rakesh Roshan revealed, “Ajay and Shah Rukh dono mere paas aaye aur kehne lage ki main Karan ka role karna chahta hu aur yeh Arjun ka role karna chahta hai. Maine bola kyu? Toh bole we wanted to change our image. Maine kaha kya apko lagta hai ki apki image change karne se yeh picture kamyaab hogi? Toh bole woh toh hum nahi bata sakte. Maine kaha, agar kamyaab hogi toh theek hai par mujhe nahi lagta ki kamyaab hogi kyuki aap log ki image hai. Ajay Devgn is an action hero, you are a romantic hero. Dono ke actions hai, dono romance hai film mein toh aisa kuch nahi ke ek sir action kar raha hai aur ek sirf romance kar raha hai picture mein. Unko samjhaya lekin uss waqt samjhe nahi woh. So dono ne picture chhod’di. Fir maine Salman aur Aamir Khan ko liya. Jab Shah Rukh ko pata chala ki maine Aamir ko liya hai, toh Shah Rukh wapas aaya mere paas aur kaha ki nay mujhse alti ho gayi hai, though I don’t believe in the story lekin main aapke saath kaam karunga. Aap jaise chahe waise kaam karunga. Fir maine Aamir ko kaha ki meri dates already hai. Aap mujhe 6 mahine baad dates de rahe hai toh dobara Shah Rukh aaya hai, main usko phir se le leta hu. Usne kaha theek hai. Toh uske baad humne Salman aur Shah Rukh ke saath picture banayi.”
Karan Arjun performed so well at the box office that it became one of the highest-grossing films of 1995. This is because the audience loved the movie for its thrilling action sequences, emotional depth, and the unforgettable chemistry between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Talking about the plot, it is based on reincarnation and revenge, and the story of two brothers, Karan and Arjun, who are separated due to a family feud. Fate reunites them in their next lives as they seek justice and redemption.
