
MUMBAI: Actor Karan Tacker recently experienced a special milestone in his journey as an artist. His film Tanvi The Great was screened in Delhi in the presence of the Hon’ble President of India, who not only watched but also applauded the film. Calling it a humbling and emotional experience, Karan shared his heartfelt thoughts on being part of such a proud moment for Indian cinema.
In Tanvi The Great, Karan plays Samar Raina, a pivotal character that adds depth to the film’s storyline. Talking about witnessing the film alongside the President, Karan said, "It was an extremely prestigious honour to be sitting with the president of your country and watching the film with her and her office. I must admit she is such a simple humble human being, and her compliment for the film is my biggest take back. It was humbling to see her watch the entire film with us. And this is a day and a moment that is going to be etched in my memory.”
The special screening was attended by members of the cast and crew, dignitaries, and cultural figures, marking a proud moment for not just the team but Indian cinema as a whole.
Tanvi The Great is set to release in cinemas on 17th July 2025.
