MUMBAI: Chandu Champion has been making headlines and trending all over the social media as it’s not just Kartik Aaryan fans who are excited but after watching the trailer it seems that the actor’s fan base has expanded to another level. The audience has been excited for the movie since it was announced.
Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, now the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan.
When talking about the movie, it’s an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.
The makers had released the poster and had also updated all the fans with some of the preparations that Kartik Aaryan did in order to get in shape for the character.
Even Kartik Aaryan had dropped a post on his Instagram profile where he could be seen with Sena Agbeko, a famous boxer.
After watching the trailer, we saw Kartik Aaryan in a completely unseen avatar. The dialogues, Kartik Aaryan’s look and his acting looks to be really amazing in the trailer. Now that the movie has hit the theatres, it is doing great at the box office.
In an exclusive interview with Kartik Aaryan prior to the release of Chandu Champion in theaters, the actor opened up on the one film that brought him into the limelight, and how it was the stepping stone to the success and stardom he now enjoys.
Kartik Aaryan said, “I have arrived toh nahi bolunga lekin I have come to a point where atleast I don’t have to be concerned about ‘arey yaar mere paas ek bhi film nahi hai mere paas kuch bhi kaam nahi hai’ I think arrival and departure inn sab words se hi darr lagta hai kyuki kuch pata nahi hota hai ke kab aapka departure ho jaye so it’s better to not think ki I arrived but having said that I would just add on to it by saying ki I felt it when Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety came and released and the way people reacted to it, the way tera yaar hoon main became what it became so suddenly there was a shift where I think I could feel the sense of attention the sense of people actually knowing my name for the first time. Toh who saari cheese I think Sonu ke Titu Ki Sweety mein thoda laga tha then I think a lot of things changed after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. That success actually changed so many films that came my way were much bigger with much bigger ideas maybe and also people actually relying on me or on my shoulders for films which happened because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 success.”
