MUMBAI: Chandu Champion has been making headlines and trending all over the social media as it’s not just Kartik Aaryan fans who are excited but after watching the trailer it seems that the actor’s fan base has expanded to another level. The audience has been excited for the movie since it was announced.

Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, now the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan.

When talking about the movie, it’s an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.

The makers had released the poster and had also updated all the fans with some of the preparations that Kartik Aaryan did in order to get in shape for the character.

Even Kartik Aaryan had dropped a post on his Instagram profile where he could be seen with Sena Agbeko, a famous boxer.

After watching the trailer, we saw Kartik Aaryan in a completely unseen avatar. The dialogues, Kartik Aaryan’s look and his acting looks to be really amazing in the trailer. Now that the movie has hit the theatres, it is doing great at the box office.

In an exclusive interview with Kartik Aaryan prior to the release of Chandu Champion in theaters, the star opened up on why it's a huge physical and psychological relief to do Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 right after Chandu Champion.

Kartik Aaryan said, “ha thoda easy ho gaya mere liye thoda uss time kyu ki kaisa hai tab mujhe aisa routine, aisa regime aur iss tareeke ki cheeze ya environment aisa nahi tha jisme shoot karna tha because yaha Chandu Champion mein na environment ki bohot dikkate thi. Abhi boxing mein main real boxers ke saath boxing kar raha hoon. Ek punch pada toh…bohot punches pade hai. Mera shoulder injury hua, main back pe girgaya, toh kuch teda sa gira toh mera back injure ho gaya tha, so all those things happened. Swimming mein woh cold water hi hota tha humesha so woh environment aur bhi zyada kharab hai kyuki 8 ghanta main pool mein hoon, thande paani mein aur mujhe viral ho rakha uss time toh all these things Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein…waha pe sirf Manjulika ko sambhalna hai, toh woh main sambhal lunga.”

Kartik Aaryan was also asked later if there are 2 Manjulika’s this time. To this, the actor replied saying, “Woh aap ek baar film ko aane toh do, kuch toh aane do, tab aapko pata lagega.”
