Katie Price charged with drunken driving
Singer Katie Price has been charged with drunken driving after crashing her car in London following a five-day bender on 10 October.
According to Metropolitan Police, Price has to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 7 January, reports of media.
"Police in Greenwich have charged a woman with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle. Katie Price, 40, of Worthing Road, Horsham, Surrey was charged by postal requisition on Monday, December 10. She is to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 7.
"The charge relates to an arrest for drink drive on Wednesday, 10 October in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich," the police spokeswoman added.
It comes amid a traumatic six months for the star, who has battled issues in her personal life lately which involved her stint in rehab for post-traumatic stress disorder.
Ansel Elgort joins ‘The Great High School Imposter’
The Fault in Our Stars fame actor Ansel Elgort has joined the ensemble cast of The Great High School Imposter movie.
The project is based on an article published earlier this year about Artur Samarin, a young Ukranian man who posed as a teenager so he could be adopted by a childless couple in a small Pennsylvania town and became the top student in his high school, Saramin was five years older than he claimed. His adopted parents later turned him to the authorities, reported by leading publication.
Mike Makowsky is adapting the script while Jeremy Steckler of Conde Nast Entertainment is producing.
Apart from The Great High School Imposter, Elgort will also be next seen in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story remake.
John Cena's favourite Transformer was Optimus Prime
Wrestling star and actor John Cena says Optimus Prime was his favourite Transformer as a child.
The Bumblebee actor admitted while he "should" pick the title character from the new blockbuster prequel - in which he plays evil Sector 7 agent Jack Burns, reports of leading publication.
In an interview to a newspaper, Cena said, "I was the right age for it, but I was possibly a little bit at the wrong time. I grew up with four other brothers and we had to fight for everything we had in our house.
"I had a wonderful childhood, but it's not like it was overflowing with gifts and presents, so we had to use our imaginations in certain circumstances.
"But my favourite, and I know I should say Bumblebee, really was Optimus Prime. He was the leader of essentially the good guys. I hark back to my obsession with WWE as a kid. I loved the good guys. I wasn't one of those fans that like the bad guys."
Lytton felt 'pressure' to make rape plot realistic
Actress Louisa Lytton of EastEnders fame says she felt a lot of pressure while filming the show's rape storyline.
The 29-year-old also worked with real life rape victims in order to give a realistic portrayal of the survivors of rape, reported by media.
In an interview to a magazine, Lytton said, "There was a lot of pressure on me and the show to do it justice for the survivors of rape.
"I've worked closely with Rape Crisis to ensure the way I act is realistic, so I knew we were safe in our portrayal of it."
Jade Thirlwall reunites with boyfriend
Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall reunited with her boyfriend Jed Elliot after 103 days apart.
She met him at an airport. Seeing her man, Thirlwall, who had a welcome home sign, rushed towards him and the pair started hugging and kissing, leading publication reported on Sunday.
She posted a video of them and quoted the famous line from Love Actually. She wrote, "103 days later. ‘If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around'."
Last month, fans were concerned the couple had split after she started crying on stage while performing with Little Mix members.
Elliot, who has been on the road with The Body Talks Tour since August, put the worries to bed when he commented beneath one of her pictures "I fancy you".
Elliot and members of his band The Struts have travelled the length and breadth of the US, with barely a day off since the start of September.
Thirlwall has been busy herself as the band have released their new album LM5.
They have been dating since the beginning of 2016.
Grant Gustin marries LA Thoma
The Flash star Grant Gustin and LA Thoma are now married.
They walked down the aisle on Saturday at Valentine DTLA, a sprawling 9,000-square-feet venue erected in the 1920s, reports of media.
Their guest list featured plenty of actors like Melissa Benoist, RJ Brown, Daveed Diggs, Jared Loftin, Leela Rothenberg, Taylor Trensch and Chris Wood.
Talent manager Robert Stein took a picture with the couple in a photo booth and shared it on Instagram.
"What heartfelt joy is was to watch Grant and LA, surrounded by their family and friends, come together for a loving union. Wishing them both a lifetime of love and happiness," Stein wrote.
"They are so blessed to have one another to spend the rest of their lives together."
Gustin proposed to Thoma in April 2017.
Jeff Bridges to get Cecil B. DeMille Award
Actor Jeff Bridges will receive the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 76th Golden Globes on 6 January 2019.
Bridges has starred in legendary films like The Big Lebowski, Crazy Heart, True Grit and The Fabulous Baker Boys.
"The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) is delighted to bestow the 2019 Cecil B. DeMille Award on Jeff Bridges," HFPA president Meher Tatna said in a statement to leading publication.
"Bridges' brilliant body of work across diverse genres has captured the hearts and minds of audiences worldwide for more than six decades. We look forward to celebrating ‘the Dude' and his remarkable career and philanthropic achievements at the upcoming Golden Globe Awards."
Bridges' first Golden Globe nomination came in 1984 for best actor in Starman. Seven years later he received his second Golden Globe nomination for his performance in The Fisher King. In 2001, he received another Golden Globe nomination for his role inThe Contender.
In 2017, he received another Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actor as a retiring Texas Ranger in Hell or High Water.
Chosen by the HFPA Board of Directors, the Cecil B. DeMille Award is given annually to a talented individual who has made a lasting impact on the world of entertainment.
Honorees over the decades include George Clooney, Robert De Niro, Audrey Hepburn, Harrison Ford, Jodie Foster, Sophia Loren, Sidney Poitier, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, Barbra Streisand, Denzel Washington, Robin Williams, Oprah Winfrey and many more.
