MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit are two of the most celebrated stars, each leaving a unique mark on Indian cinema. The duo’s most notable collaboration came in the form of Khal Nayak (1993), a film that remains a cult classic. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the movie featured Dutt as Ballu, a troubled criminal, and Madhuri as Ganga, a determined police officer. Now, as per Times of India reports, Khal Nayak is going to return with a sequel. While speaking to Times of India, director Subash Ghai opened up, “Yes, the script is now complete and the rest of the cast and technicians will soon be finalised.”

Well, now that the director has confirmed the completion of script, and beginning of the casting process, fans are wondering about Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit’s presence. To answer that, the TOI report mentions that while the sequel will feature a fresh cast, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit might make special appearances.
