Victoria Beckham dismisses divorce rumours

Victoria Beckham shared a sweet family photograph to dismiss laughable divorce rumours with husband David Beckham.

Victoria has put the speculation firmly behind her as she posted a cosy image with her family on Instagram.

The former Spice Girl, 44, appeared in high spirits as she posed for the image with sons Romeo, 15 and Cruz, 13, as well as daughter Harper, six and her parents Jackie and Tony Adams.

The doting mother of four, who is also famed for her eponymous fashion line, put on a typically chic display as she was clad in a pair of patent trousers and a white tee, tied in with pointed red stilettos.

Victoria beamed with delight as she embraced her youngest child Harper, who flashed a wide grin for the adorable image.

Second son Romeo bore a resemblance to Cruz, as the brothers both sported white T-shirts and dark-wash bottoms.

Meg Ryan on being labeled as America's Sweetheart

Actress Meg Ryan has spoken on being labeled America's Sweetheart and leaving acting.

During the In Goop Health event on Saturday, Gwyneth Paltrow and Meg Ryan, who was once dubbed America's Sweetheart, talked about a wide range of topics.

Raising the topic of being America's Sweetheart, Paltrow talked to Ryan about being pigeon-holed by the society.

"You're either intelligent or sexual or maternal and I really feel like we're at a time where those borders are coming down and it's coming with a lot of cultural upheaval in a way," she said.

For the most part, Ryan, who was married to actor Dennis Quaid back in her heyday from 1991 to 2001, had a lot of fun.

She continued, "I never wanted to be an actress. The whole idea of being a famous person... I felt like a witness to, I didn't feel exactly in it and I think that was a really good thing. I felt like a student of it in a way or that I was watching it in an anthropological way."

The actress added, "Life is subtle, people are complex and the world is obviously complex and tabloid journalism and headlines, those are not. Tweets, those are not. When you get labeled anything like America's Sweetheart, I didn't even know what that meant. Nora Ephron's (When Harry Met Sally' director) parents wrote scripts in old Hollywood and there was such a thing as America's Sweetheart in the 40s and she decided to say that about me one day and I remember thinking, 'Is that good?'"

Paltrow remarked that it was a confining title.

Ryan added, "It doesn't necessarily imply that you're smart or sexual or complicated or anything, it's a label. And what can a label do but guess at you?"

As for her quitting acting, Ryan said that for a time she was being very reactive instead of proactive.

Cheryl spill beans on her rocky relationship with Liam

Singer Cheryl Tweedy is set to get personal on her rocky relationship with singer Liam Payne as part of her musical comeback.

The former Girls Aloud star has been in the recording studio with up-and-coming singer Raye.

Raye, 20, revealed Cheryl is getting personal on her fifth studio album, reports mirror.co.uk.

She said, "We've gone proper, personal and unveiled some layers. She was really open and I think she's got her head on straight. She wanted a young up-and-coming writer to help her put her perspective out there and into a song. The music is really good. I think she's got something really exciting coming up."

Earlier this year, sources close to Cheryl revealed she and former One Direction singer Payne had hit a rocky patch.

The couple has a one-year-old son called Bear.

Harry Potter..., The Band's Visit wins big at Tony Awards

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two roped in Best Play while The Band's Visit was recognised as the Best Musical at the 72nd Tony Awards that mixed Broadway razzle-dazzle with politically-charged calls to arms.

Angels in America, a sprawling two-part drama about the AIDS crisis, was named the year's Best Play Revival. The honour, one of three statues it picked up on Sunday, came roughly 25 years after the original production of Angels in America swept the 1993 Tony Awards.

Ostensibly a celebration of theatre, the annual event was an opportunity for Broadway to talk up the virtues of inclusion and diversity, while also drawing attention to gay rights, gun control and the challenges facing immigrants.

While introducing a performance by Bruce Springsteen, presenter Robert De Niro said, "F**k Trump" twice sending CBS censors scrambling to bleep his off-colour remarks.

De Niro's fiery words were the most likely to elicit a Twitter response from US President Donald Trump.

Most winners and presenters avoided mentioning Trump or Trump-ism by name while making it clear that their sympathies were with the resistance.

Many wore pins for movements such as Time's Up or ribbons highlighting left-leaning organisations such as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Tony Kushner, the playwright behind Angels in America, was one of the broadcast's more explicit agitators, urging people to get out and vote in the mid-term elections in November.

Kushner told viewers that they have 21 weeks to save our democracy and heal our planet.

Andrew Garfield-- the Best Leading Actor in a play-- won for his work as Prior Walter, the AIDS-stricken prophet at the centre of Angels in America. He referenced a recent Supreme Court order upholding the right of a Colorado baker to refuse to bake a cake for the marriage of a same-sex couple.

"Let's bake a cake for everyone," Garfield said.

The Amazing Spiderman fame actor honoured the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community, stating, "It is a spirit that says no to oppression. It is a spirit that says no to bigotry, no to shame, no to exclusion. It is a spirit that says we are all made perfectly and we all belong."

Best Actress in a play winner Glenda Jackson, recognised for work in Three Tall Women, praised the multi-cultural nature of the theatre business.

The Band's Visit, the story of a group of Egyptian musicians who find themselves bonding with the residents of a small Israeli town, is a plea to tolerance and brotherhood at a moment when tensions are rising in the Middle East.

Nathan Lane of Angels in America nabbed a Best Featured Actor statue for his performance as Roy Cohn, a venal power-broker who was a mentor to President Trump.

Lindsay Mendez picked up the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress for her work in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel.

Stachel's director David Cromer was also honoured for his work on the play and used his time to send a message to people suffering from depression.

He said, “The Band's Visit concerns people who have lost hope; beseeching those who are suffering to call out.” His speech came days after celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain and fashion designer Kate Spade committed suicide.

Three Tall Women's Laurie Metcalf won her second Tony Award in as many years for Best Featured Actress in a play.

Co-hosts Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban kicked off the ceremony at the Radio City Music Hall with a piano duet in which they poked fun at the fact that neither of them has won Tony or Grammy Awards.

Here's what Julianna Margulies learned from Clooney

Actress Julianna Margulies, who worked with actor George Clooney on the hit show ER, states that he has taught her how to respect everyone on the set.

The 52-year-old actress and Clooney portrayed nurse, Carol Hathaway and Dr. Doug Ross respectively on the show.

Margulies recalled a moment when the actor shut down an upset guest star on the set of the medical drama, reports etonline.com.

"I remember it was a guest star. I don't know they were upset and they were keeping all of us waiting in the trailer. And we were all on the set waiting and when they came on I was just watching, and George said, 'You know, you keep all of us waiting. The crew actually doesn't get to go home to see their families. So that's what that little tantrum was,’” she said.

"And I was like, 'Nice!' It never happened again," Margulies added at the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award gala, which honoured Clooney earlier this week.

The Good Wife star said that she was "very, very lucky" to have been able to work with Clooney.
