Koena Mitra shades Karan Johar over Kangana Ranaut controversy, 'He's no one to ask anyone to leave

Koena Mitra lashes out at Karan Johar for asking Kangana Ranaut to leave Bollywood in an old video; says he doesn't have the license to run the industry

MUMBAI: The Karan Johar VS Kangana Ranaut feud has divided everyone, and how. While some are supporting KJo, a section of people are also coming forth to laud Kangana. It was only recently that Kangana, in a controversial interview with Republic TV, targeted many bigwigs of the industry, also including Karan. She accused him of certain things in the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. Soon after, an old video of the filmmaker expressing his displeasure over the Queen actress had gone viral. In it, he could be heard asking Kangana to leave the industry if she has so many issues.

That particular clip brought KJo at the receiving end of even more hatred and trolling. Now, actress and Bigg Boss 13 fame Koena Mitra, in a conversation with IBT, has reacted to the same. She bashed Karan Johar saying that he's no one to ask anybody to leave Bollywood, as he doesn't have the license to run the industry. Koena said, "Kangana has complained about a certain thing, I remember watching one of Karan Johar's video, wherein he says, 'If you have so much problem then move'. He is no one to ask anybody to leave, he doesn't have the license of this industry to ask her to leave."

She added, "If he doesn't like something or someone he will speak. For instance, if you don't like something, or you have bitter experiences you will talk about it, you will talk about your success or failure stories. and others will have to tolerate you just the way we have tolerated so many people and their nonsense. So you can't say that leave the industry. You should be questioned by everyone in the industry ki license kisne diya?"

For the unversed, in the clip, KJo could be heard saying, "I mean you cannot be this victim at every given point of time who has this sad story to tell about how you have been terrorised by the bad world of the industry. Leave it. Who is forcing you on a gun-point to be here in the movies? Leave. Do something else."

In her interview, Kangana had accused Karan of sabotaging Sushant's name by spreading that he's a flop actor, and he intentionally didn't release their film Drive on the big screen.
