MUMBAI: Bollywood actress and National Film Award winner Kriti Sanon bought 2,000 square feet of land in Alibaug's The House of Abhinandan, a Lodha project. The property is about a 20-minute drive from Mandwa Beach, and it can be reached by boat from South Mumbai in 60 minutes.
The popular news portal sources claim that Kriti has put in Rs 2 crore for the property.
According to Kriti, purchasing the land has been an "empowering journey." "I have had my eyes on Alibaug for a while. I was clear about what I was looking for - peace, privacy and a great investment addition to my portfolio. Even my father was impressed with this investment. It is a prime location, right in the heart of Alibaug, so this opportunity checked all the boxes. There is no better time to invest in Alibaug than now," the actress stated.
In the same project, megastar Amitabh Bachchan just purchased a 10,000-square-foot plot. Kriti has been growing her business endeavors and managing her film career well in the meantime.
The Mimi actress established Blue Butterfly Films, her producing company, in 2023. She also co-founded a skincare company to use efficient products to streamline skin care procedures. It has been reported that she has also invested in a fitness company that aims to promote well-being and good health.
Regarding her career, Kriti was most recently spotted in the movie Crew alongside Tabu, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kareena Kapoor. The actress is co-producing Do Patti, which will be her next feature film. Kajol plays a major role in the movie as well.
