Kumar Sanu expresses sadness over MTV Beats and VH1 SHUTTING DOWN: 'Fond memories, won awards...' - Exclusive

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Kumar Sanu talked about MTV Beats and VH1 shutting down and his memories with the channel.

MUMBAI: There are countless memories with MTV Beats, VH1 and Comedy Central. Comedy Central became the number 1 stop for audience who are interested in watching some refreshing comedy shows. MTV Beats ha been a name for many generations and VH1 has been a gateway for audiences who prefer western music AND also for Indian artists who are making English music.

Comedy Central played one of the most famous TV shows ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’ and many other shows like ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘2 Broke Girls’ and ‘Brooklyn 99’ all day during the tough times of lockdown.

Unfortunately, now these channels are shutting down soon and it’s going to leave an unforgettable space.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Kumar Sanu talked about MTV Beats and VH1 shutting down and his memories with the channel.

Kumar Sanu said, “Yeh dukh ki baat hai. MTV Beats and VH1. MTV Beats ka toh mera memories juda hua hai ke MTV Beats award mile mere ko bohot baar. Yeh chanel bandh nahi hona chahiye lekin thoda inka jis tarah se channel chalate hai, jis tarah se woh songs ke upar dhyaan dete, aur thoda sa attractive kar lete jaise ki retro ho, ya uss tarah ka kuch kar lete toh who chalta and aur nahi dikhayi dega yeh bohot dukh hoga. MTV Beats and VH1 dono channel chalna chahiye tha but we are feeling sorry for that.”

It has been announced that VH1, MTV Beats and Comedy Central will be shut from March 15, 2025.
