Mahabharat actor Satish Kaul passes away due to COVID-19

Satish Kaul is no more.

A rather sad news has hit our desks.

Veteran actor Satish Kaul of Mahabharat fame passed away after his battle with COVID-19. (Read here: Rashami Desai mourns death of fan due to Coronavirus)

The actor was in the news lately as he was facing a financial crisis. Satish is best remembered as Lord Indra in Mahabharat. Last year, he expressed that he is going through a tough phase financially. He couldn’t bear his basic expenses and had requested the industry for financial help.

Sources tell us that the actor was suffering from COVID-19, and today, he passed away after a brave fight against the virus.

Satish has contributed immensely to the Punjabi film industry. He was also referred as the Amitabh Bachchan of Punjabi cinema. He has acted in over 300 Hindi and Punjabi films and has worked with Bollywood actors in the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Dev Anand, and Dilip Kumar.

His popular projects include Sassi Punnu, Ishq Nimana, Suhag Chooda, and Patola.
