Just the other day we had reported that the makers of Munnabhai would wait for the real Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) to return before they could start with the next installment of Munnabhai.
Now, it has come to light that producers T.P. Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal have decided to wait to start their next film with Dutt till he returned from jail.
It is learnt that the producers had signed the actor Dutt for their second project Wasooli besides Policegiri. Said Rahul to media, “I am not worried about Policegiri. Earlier also he has given priority to my film and even now, I am sure, he will. Sanjay had shot for four days (for Wasooli) but the film will be stuck for sure as I need him for 55 days which is not possible.”
The makers, however, are not replacing Dutt with any other actor. “I will wait for Sanju to come back and will restart the film then. I will put my project on hold,” added Rahul, who has two days of shooting and some dubbing left with Sanjay for Policegiri.
It may be remembered that Dutt was granted four weeks extension by the Supreme Court to finish his pending work.
