Makkhi to be dubbed in Japanese and Swahili

After getting rave reviews for the Hindi version too… besides Tamil and Telugu, director S S Rakamouli has gone a step ahead and decided to dub the film in Japanese and Swahili. “We shot the film in Telugu and Tamil and later dubbed it into Malyalam. We converted it into Hindi as well and it is a huge success everywhere. Now, we are in the process of dubbing it into Japanese and Swahili. But the process is in its initial stage as we have only spoken to a Japanese authority to dub and distribute the film there,” Rajamouli said in a statement.

Makkhi is the story of Jani (Nani) and Bindu who are in love but never communicated their feelings to each other and continue to enjoy their unexpressed love. Sudeep, a billionaire and a powerful businessman gets attracted to Bindu and wants to own her for his pleasure, but he realizes that she is in love with Jani, which upsets him. When Bindu wants to express her love to Jani, Sudeep murders him. Jani is reborn as the fly and attempts to fight Sudeep’s proceedings towards Bindu, but his efforts go in vain. The fly convinces Bindu that he is Jani and they team up to take the revenge. It is said that the visual effects in this live action animation film is at par with some of the biggest blockbusters in Hollywood. The film without having any star-backing had created a lot of buzz pre-release amongst Bollywood celebrities as well as trade pundits who have been continuously congratulating the director for the innovative concept that he has come up with. Rajamouli, whose 'Vikramarkudu and Maryadam, have been remade as Rowdy Rathore and Son of Sardaar respectively, has debuted in the Hindi with Makkhi.
