Shah Rukh also said that Remo's journey has been an inspirational story.

"If you work hard, you can also become like him. Right from that song to choreographing us in Zero, his kindness, goodness and hard work has paved the way for him to be where he is today. Not too fussy: Chitrangada Singh on her fashion choices

Actress Chitrangada Singh believes in keeping her style game simple and organic and says that she is not too fussy with her fashion choices.

"I'm not too fussy, and prefer to keep it simple and organic. That's more me and more of my style. As a celebrity, your dressing has to be an extension of you and your personality," Chitrangada told a leading publication over an e-mail when asked about staying stylish effortlessly.

"I'm not that brand conscious either and believe if you are comfortable in something, you should go with it," she added.

She also said that she is not a fashion conscious person.

"I wish I was. I don't pay too much attention to what I wear when I step out. As long as one looks good and feels good, you can carry off an outfit with ease.

"However, I am very particular about my hair! It's important to always have a good hair day," added the actress, who was present at the opening of new store of brand Tresmode recently.

The brand that believes in creating uber chic footwear and handbags launched their third store in Delhi-NCR in South Extension-II.

Talking about how the brand resonates with youth, Kapil Mahtani, Founder and CEO, said the collection is based on "youth mindset".

"Athleisure is the new trend and people are now dressing down than dressing up. The occasional dressing up has also changed and become more elegant and glamorous.

"The market is drifting to both ends of the spectrum and we are catering to both ends of the spectrum giving our customers their everyday shoes and shoes for special occasions," he said.

Amitabh Bhattacharya consciously avoids multi-composer, multi-lyricist space

Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, known for his work in films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Dangal, says he consciously avoids being a part of the multi-composer and multi-lyricist space.

"Earlier in my career, I did some films (which had multiple composers and lyricists in one film). Now, I consciously avoid being in the multi-composer and multi-lyricist space," Bhattacharya said at the Screenwriters Association's event here earlier this week.

"Composers like Pritam, Amit Trivedi, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar and Ajay-Atul do entire albums. We all agree with one point that one person composes music and the other one writes the lyrics. They bring a colour to the film."

"If you take any landmark album, old times or recent ones also, when those two people do it together, a tonality is there."

Ankit Tiwari opens up on working with Meet Bros

Singer-composer Ankit Tiwari teamed up with the musical duo Meet Bros for the new single Jhoot bolna paap hai. He says they had been thinking of collaborating with each other for long.

"It's been long since Meet Bros and I have been thinking of collaborating, but couldn't come across a song that could get us going. This was one song that I had created which was in mind and knew it was the ideal one for our collaboration," Ankit said in a statement.

"When I took it to them, we jammed on it and we knew it would be the beginning of a new association. We decided to shoot it in Doha," he added.

Jhooth bolna paap hai has been sung by Ankit and Meet Bros. It has rap by Ali Quli Mirza and King Guru. The music is by BH Music Cafe and lyrics have been penned by Sahas Pareek.

Raja Kumari picks Bollywood projects 'very carefully'

Indian-American songwriter-rapper Raja Kumari lent her voice to the title track of Salman Khan-starrer Race 3 and a song in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero this year. The Grammy-nominated artiste says she will definitely be involved with Bollywood and that she picks her Hindi film songs very carefully.

"I just did a Bollywood project that makes sense to me. I pick my Bollywood projects very carefully. I'll definitely be involved with Bollywood. I'm not sure what my next project will be," Raja told a leading publication.

"I just worked on Zero with Shah Rukh Khan for the song Husn Parcham with Katrina Kaif. It was really exciting to be a part of such a film," she added.

She was part of Vh1 Listen that hosts curated live gigs on the official Facebook page of Vh1.

"It was indeed fun performing for Vh1 Listen. I had a lot of fun performing in a different way and that idea of broadcasting was great.

"Connecting with so many people than we usually get when we perform on stage. The digital platform allowed me to connect with so many people and it was awesome," she said.

She thinks the Internet has given musicians a lot of freedom in terms of how they make and shoot their music.

"I think the digital platform is just growing. It is a great opportunity for more musicians to connect with more people. Digital platform gives access to more people for artistes, more than going on tour," said Raja.

Shilpa Rao wants to sing for Tabu

Shilpa Rao has been the "voice" of many actresses like Kajol and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Although she feels great to have those opportunities, but what she really earns for is to sing a song picturised on versatile actress Tabu.

"It feels great that I have already sung for Deepika (Padhukone), Anushka Sharma), Aishwarya, Kajol, Katrina (Kaif) and many more. But I would love to lend my voice for Tabu," Shilpa told a leading publication.

As of now, the Gustakh dil hitmaker is thrilled about having a song in a film helmed by an Oscar winner.

Talking about the song Jashn-E-Tanhai, she said, "It's a huge honour and all thanks to (composer) Pritam who made me part of this project ('Tigers'). I don't think I would have worked with the amazing (director) Danis Tanovic had it not been for Pritam."

Is her aim to have her song featured in a Hollywood film?

"We never know what our next song is going to be. The only thing we do is keep ourselves prepared to sing a song," she said.

The most important thing for her is that her songs "reach people and their hearts".

The soundtracks of Bollywood films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Bang Bang! and Bachna Ae Haseeno have songs sung by her, but her first love is ghazals.

"Ghazals have been my first love. As a child, I listened to a lot of ghazals. I have trained myself to read and write in Urdu because it helps me to have a better pronunciation and diction while singing.

"For the past one year, I have been able to sing for really big audiences... young people and those who are veterans.... The best part is that the youth is able to connect with ghazals," she said.

Apart from singing, she loves to collaborate with a lot of artistes.

"Be it with Parikrama, Agnee or Noori, I have been doing that (collaborating) throughout my life. For many of the collaborations, you have to compose with your collaborator. It's a huge amount of fun that you have while working with them," she said.
