The Bombay High Court has ultimately dismissed Mamta Kulkarni's lawsuit, according to the most recent update. The First Information Report (FIR) against Mamta was quashed by the court on Monday, claiming insufficient evidence.
A court made up of Justices Bharati Dangre and Manjusha Deshpande reportedly dismissed the criminal case against the accused, noting that there was insufficient evidence to convict her. Mamta's request to have the lawsuit dismissed will be granted even though the court has not yet issued a specific order.
Mamta Kulkarni petitioned the high court in 2018 to have the criminal charges against her withdrawn. Vicky Goswami, Mamta's husband, is thought to have been the mastermind behind the ring that produced and obtained ephedrine.
