MUMBAI: Abhishek Bachchan, who has been busy shooting for a film, got injured and hurt his right hand.

The actor has been admitted to the hospital. On Sunday evening, Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda were spotted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to visit the actor. According to reports, Abhishek has been advised to rest and told to keep the hand in a sling.

Amitabh Bachchan was seen clad in a loose kurta and pajama with a hoodie, a headscarf, and a mask. On the other hand, Shweta Bachchan wore comfy clothes. Just a few days ago, Abhishek had dropped wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya at the airport as the actress was leaving for Orchha in Madhya Pradesh for Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan shoot. Earlier yesterday, Aishwarya and Aaradhya returned back.

Abhishek Bachchan has acquired rights of the 2019 Tamil thriller 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7'. According to TOI, the actor is producing the movie under his banner and is also closely involved with the project which is directed by Parthiban.

There have been reports that the movie is being shot at a steady pace under strict protocols as they plan to wrap it in a start-to-finish schedule. Mobile phones are not allowed on the sets as they want to keep details of the project under wraps.
