MUMBAI: June 14, 2020, was when we lost one of the finest actors of Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor, who impressed fans with movies like Kedarnath, Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni, and a few others left us with a lot of unsolved questions post his demise.
The Sushant Singh Rajput case does not have only the suicide side to it but also that drug angle. So today, let us have a look at the timeline of the Sushant Singh Rajput drug case.
After the actor's death on June 14, the CBI and ED started investigation. Rhea Chakraborty and Jaya Shah's chats were discovered, in which they were discussing drugs. The NCB had to join the investigation.
After this, the NCB registered a case against Rhea under sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the narcotics act.

The NCB took Rhea's brother Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput's manager Sameul Miranda in custody for further interrogation in the drug case.
Later, the actress filed an FIR against Sushant Singh Rajput's sister and claimed that they had obtained a false prescription for banned medicines and annexed the same without supervising dose and quantity, which resulted in an anxiety attack and lead to actor's death.
Later, Rhea was arrested by NCB.
As we all know, after the drug angle emerged in the case, many Bollywood celebrities were interrogated. Actresses like Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor were called for interrogation.
Gabriella's brother Agisilaos Demetriads was arrested by the NCB in an alleged drug-related case. Even Arjun Rampal and Gabriella were interrogated by the agency.
After the NCB started the investigation, a lot of drug peddlers came under the scanner and several of them were arrested.
The latest development is that the NCB has arrested Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth from Hyderabad. They have brought him to Mumbai and got him under custody for 5 days.
It has been a year, and the late actor is being highly missed.
