MUMBAI: Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors in the film industry. He bravely took a chance and forged a mysterious professional path despite being completely ignorant of how the competitive film industry. His professional career began with training at the National School of Drama and acting in several theatrical productions.
Nawazuddin did not receive a lot of praise till 2010 for his performance in the movie Peepli Live. Since then, he has acted in numerous movies, including Talaash, Kahaani, Gangs of Wasseypur, The Lunchbox, and many more. In his private life, Nawaz is wed to Aaliya Siddiqui, and they have two children, Yani and Shora.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed in his recent interaction with the popular news portal that his elder daughter, Shora wants to follow in his footsteps and enter the films. The doting father revealed that he has enrolled her into an acting school as well.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui stated, “I want Shora to follow her dreams. She is 13 and is all set to pursue performing arts. I have enrolled her into an acting school.”
The actor revealed “I want her to be a trained actor if she wishes to take up acting professionally. Acting is an art and it helps to be prepared. I am there for her and will always support her in every way possible, but just that isn't enough. I will even take her to the best acting schools and workshops. If you want something badly, you need to put your best foot forward and do it with all your heart.”
Well, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is every doting father ever, and he never fails to fulfil the demands of his children. Earlier, while speaking on the YouTube channel, Unfiltered With Samdish, the actor narrated an anecdote, when he got a shocker upon learning the price of a bag his daughter, Shora ardently wished to purchase.
He added, “A few days back, she took me to a mall in Dubai, papa ek chota sa bag chahiye mujhe. I said, fine, buy it. I thought it must be some small bag. But, she pulled me to Louis Vuitton’s showroom and picked up a small bag. Par jab usne mujhe rate bataye toh mere hosh udd gaye. It was very expensive. It cost Rs 2 lakh. I thought it must be somewhere around Rs 20-25k, itna sa toh bag hai vo. But when I was told its price, I was like, ‘Hain?”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aaliya Siddiqui made news almost a year ago when she claimed to have been kicked out of their Dubai home. After a flurry of disputes, accusations, and media attention, it turned into a messy situation.
On the other hand, Aaliya and Nawaz shared a photo in March 2024 while commemorating their wedding anniversary. Though there were rumors of reconciliation at the time, Aaliya subsequently acknowledged as much in an interview with the popular news portal. She disclosed that after resolving their disagreements, they gave up and resumed their peaceful lives.
