MUMBAI: Despite being in the final trimester of her pregnancy, producer Nidhi Dutta is proving that nothing can come between her and her passion for filmmaking. Alongside T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Nidhi is all set for Border 2—the much-anticipated sequel to her father JP Dutta’s iconic war film. Currently in its third shoot schedule in Pune, Nidhi has been attending crucial production meetings and staying actively involved on set.
Whether it’s creative discussions or logistical planning, Nidhi has been present through it all, ensuring every aspect of the film lives up to the legacy of the original.
In her words, Nidhi shares, “This film is a dream I’ve seen with my father, and there’s no greater joy than seeing it come alive—even if that means juggling production schedules with baby kicks! My team has been incredibly supportive, and this journey feels even more special with two heartbeats invested in it. I’m due anytime soon so looks like I’ll be going into delivery straight from the sets”
With Border 2 shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2026, Nidhi’s spirit and dedication stand as a true testament to the passion of the woman driving the project.
