Nikhil Advani’s Delhi Safari, the internationally acclaimed 3D stereoscopic animation feature film produced by Krayon Pictures, is all set for a nationwide release on 19 October (2012).
The film is the story of five animals who journey to Delhi to protest before the parliament when their homeland (forest) is encroached upon by builders. Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Boman Irani, Urmila Matondkar and Suniel Shetty have lent their voice for the film.

The film is the story of five animals who journey to Delhi to protest before the parliament when their homeland (forest) is encroached upon by builders. Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Boman Irani, Urmila Matondkar and Suniel Shetty have lent their voice for the film.
Said Advani in a statement, “The movie is the first of its kind in India. It has a strong environmental theme; cutting-edge 3D animation, packaged in Bollywood tamasha.”
The film has already been sold in many international territories. The English version of the film features voices of Jason Alexander, Brad Garret, Vanessa Williams, Jane Lynch, Christopher Lloyd and Cary Elwiss.
Delhi Safari was chosen for the ‘official selection’ section at the Annecy Film Festival 2012 in France. Talking about his film getting the prestgious award, Aditya Nath Jha, CEO of Krayon Pictures said, “The Annecy Film festival is the most prestigious global festival for the animation industry and the selection of our film signifies the coming of age of the Indian animation and its ability to create a truly international film with a universally enjoyable story and world-class animation.”
Earlier, Delhi Safari had won the Best Feature Film (theatrical) award at FICCI FRAMES 2012.
