Karva Chauth has always been an integral part of Bollywood films- a sacred ritual observed by the dutiful wife for the longevity of her husband. But looks like reel life antics don’t hold good in real life for Kareena Kapoor. The Bollywood diva who is married to Saif Ali Khan, out rightly denied any plans of observing a fast on the eve of Karva Chauth. Speaking at Malabar Gold and Diamond's function yesterday, the pretty actress told reporters that she doesn't believe in the entire ritual of fasting to prove her love."I am a Kapoor girl and I don't believe in starving myself," Kareena said without batting an eyelid. Now we think this feisty decision deserves a rapturous applause. Earlier in the day Kareena also launched Malabar Gold's online shopping initiative and their price friendly 'Mine Diamond Diwali' collection. Kareena who was dressed in a radiant Anarkali told us that her romance with jewellery began when she received her first pay cheque. "I brought my first piece of jewellery with my first pay and that will always remain memorable." However, when asked about the most memorable jewellery that hubby Saif has gifted, Kareena said, “There are many and I can't remember any specific one right now.” Hmm...things purchased with one's own money will always remain memorable.
