A city tabloid's report claiming trouble brewing in Sanjay Dutt's production company has upset the Dutt's to no end it seems. The tabloid quoting sources reported that Manyata Dutt was finding it difficult to run Sanjay's production house in his absence and that the company is on the verge of downing its shutters. The report further claimed that their home production Hasmukh Pighal Gaya has been shelved and employees have also been asked to leave and no major announcements would be made till Sanjay remains in jail.
The Dutt's through their publicist today issued an official statement denying the occurrence of any such trouble. Below is the official statement:
This is with reference to today's tabloid reports of Sanjay Dutt's Production House reportedly being in crisis, the movie Hasmukh Pighal Gaya being shelved and apparent asking of people to leave the company. We would officially state the above as being untrue and false. The movie Hasmukh Pighal Gaya is very much on schedule and due to its story being heavily centered around the season of summer (The protagonist is shown in the hot sweltering heat of summer), the film is being aptly released during the summer season next year, since that period is most logically suited for the release in theatres.
Reports of people being asked to leave are also untrue as nobody from the production house and the crew have been asked to leave.
Dipti Jindal, COO, Sanjay Dutt Productions Pvt Ltd states, "The reports of our production house shutting down are completely untrue. Our projects are smoothly progressing as per our plans with Hasmukh Pighal Gaya looking at a 2015 summer release. Raju Hirani's film is in scripting stage and we have also signed Prabhudeva for our other film project."
Well, looks like Sanju baba's long absence has certainly set many tongues wagging in the industry.
