Not remaking Hum, says Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty flayed reports suggesting that he is remaking Amitabh Bachchan's Hum with SRK. Speculations were rife that Rohit had locked in Mukul Anand's Hum as his next film and SRK would be reprising the lead role of Amitabh Bachchan. Rumours also swirled around saying that for Govinda and Rajinikanth's characters, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are being considered and Kajol would be the female lead of the movie. Calling the news as a false piece of information, Rohit said, "I am really surprised at this news. I am not remaking Hum." When asked what he is working on currently, Rohit said, " I am writing the script of my next film but I can assure you that it has got nothing to do with Hum. I am not remaking the movie. I have only officially bought the rights of Ram Lakhan." Well, looks like Rohit doesn't want too many remakes in his plate right now.
