MUMBAI: The 1990 film Agneepath was a blockbuster hit.The film that earned Amitabh Bachchan a National Award for Best Actor and had stellar cast like Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa, Tinnu Anand, and others was appreciated by the audience.
In that film was Resham Arora, a background artist who is now struggling financially. While many performers have created a name for themselves, Resham Arora, 71, is still facing financial difficulties.

Resham has portrayed a variety of roles throughout his career. In 'Agneepath,' he played the doctor who heals Mithun Chakraborty, and in 'Khuda Gawah,' he played the jailor. He has also appeared in a number of other films and television shows.
According to ETimes, the actor feels that there is no work for him and this has been the state since the lockdown began. He also mentioned that despite the unlock after the pandemic, he does not have sufficient work opportunities.
The senior actor told his heartbreaking narrative and detailed the unfortunate events. He said,” I fell off a train a couple of years ago, and then was bitten in the leg by some strange insect at a shoot for Ashwini Dheer's show 'Chidiya Ghar', which hindered my movement for some time. Being in a precarious condition, tragedy further struck me when my wife's eyesight started deteriorating; she contracted acute glaucoma.
He also stated, "I am seriously in need of work. CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) has helped me a bit but that's definitely not enough to keep us in good condition. I am broke. I need financial aid."
Dealing with the difficulty and instability of show business, the senior actor has hoped that the support of his peers in the profession will help him resurrect his career and turn his bad luck around.
