MUMBAI: One of the most loved movies of Shahrukh Khan is Darr, released in the year 1993. It was a movie which challenged Shah Rukh Khan and brough him in a different light. It showcased the kind of potential and talent the man possesses. The film was loved back then and it is still remembered for its strong narrative.
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor has also done path breaking characters similar to Darr. While Darr projected Shah Rukh Khan in negative light, Rishi Kapoor was a part of a similar movie based on obssessive love titled Darar wherein he played the role of the saviour.
Well, did you know that it was Rishi Kapoor who was offered the negative role for Darr but the actor turned it down and recommened Shah Rukh Khan?

Rishi Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan shared screen space in the movie Deewana, which was Khan's debut movie.
Directed by Yash Chopra through the studio Yash Raj Films, the film stars Sunny Deol, Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan, with Anupam Kher, Tanvi Azmi and Dalip Tahil in supporting roles.
