OMG! Koi... Mil Gaya star Rajat Bedi lands in more legal fiasco post the accident's victim's death; READ

After his car hit an inebriated man on the road, Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi landed in legal trouble since the victim had reportedly developed a serious head injury.

MUMBAI: Actor Rajat Bedi, best known for his role in Koi... Mil Gaya is currently creating buzz for a controversial reason. 

As many know, Rajat hit a man with his car on Monday. The 39-year-old resident of Mumbai's D N Nagar was hit by the actor's car while returning from work. He was in critical condition after the accident. 

As per the latest update, the victim died on Tuesday, cops have added section 304-A of the IPC in his FIR. The section deals with an accused causing death by negligence.

In a recent interview, Rajat's manager revealed that the actor and his friends have been helping out the victim's family. She said, "In an unfortunate incident, though it was not Rajat's fault as he was driving really slow. Mr Rajesh (victim) came in front of Rajat's car. He was fully drunk, near Andheri West Metro station. Rajat himself immediately took him to Cooper Hospital after the accident and extended all possible help and support to him, arranged for blood in the night at 3.30 am and supported his family.".

"Sadly he passed away. Rajat had been praying for his recovery and Mr Rajesh's sudden demise has left him shattered. We wish to express our sincere heartfelt condolences to the victim's family and will help them in whatever way possible.", she added. 

The manager also shared that the actor's friend Suresh has been with the victim's family and helped them with medicines, treatment including financial help and did the last rituals too. "Rajat is cooperating with the authorities and also consulting his team as to how to proceed ahead. He shall communicate soon.", she added. 

The victim is now survived by his wife and two daughters.
