MUMBAI : The upcoming movie of Shahid Kapoor titled Jersey is a remake of a Telugu film of the same title. It also stars Mrunal Thakur in the leading role. The movie, which is based on the concept of delayed success, is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
As we all know, the movie was all set to hit the big screen on 14th April, clashing with the much-awaited film KGF Chapter 2. Now, Team Jersey has decided to postpone their movie. Jersey has witnessed a change in release date once again. The new release date is one week later. ‘Jersey’ will now arrive in cinemas on April 22.

As we all know, initially the movie was supposed to hit the big screen on 31st December 2021. Because of the 50% occupancy in a few states of India and the covid fear, the movie got delayed. It was supposed to release on 14th April. Now, it will release on April 22.
