MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who turns 49 today i.e 1st November, has achieved a lot in her 2 decade old career with only sheer talent and of course beauty. The former Ms. World has made a mark not only in the Hindi film industry but has also made her presence felt internationally. The Devdas actress who wowed her fans in her recently released film Ponniyin Selvan has been praised immensely by her Father in law Amitabh Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a woman of strength, dignity and a huge inspiration to many women. The actress conceived her daughter Aaradhya in her late 30’s and inspite of having many complications chose to give birth naturally without any epidural or pain killers.
Heaping praises for the Devdas actress and once said in an interview, “We went there on the 14th night. The doctors had told us that the baby could arrive anytime now. On the 16th morning, she delivered the baby. This was a normal delivery even though these days people opt for C-section and other things. But Aishwarya wanted a normal delivery. She had to struggle but I commend her that she was in acute labor for a long time, almost 2-3 hours. But she persisted, said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller.”
Aishwarya was last seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and more recently as Nandini, Queen of Pazhuvoor in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan I.
