MUMBAI: The Oscars 2025 was something that a lot of people were waiting for. Finally, the award show happened and the audience got to see some worthy winners at the event.

Anora won the Best Picture award and Best Film Editing award but that’s not it. Mikey Madison (from Anora) won the award for the Best Actress, and Sean Baker (of Anora) won as the Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Meanwhile, the award for the Best Adapted Screenplay was won by Peter Straughan for Conclave.
Adrien Brody won the Best Actor award for ‘The Brutalist’ while the movie won the Best Original score award and the Best Cinematography award.
Zoe Saldaña won the best supporting actress award for Emilia Pérez while Kieran Culkin won the best supporting actor for ‘A Real Pain’. El Mal won the award for Best Original Song for Emilia Pérez.
Award for the Best International feature was won by ‘I’m Still Here’ from Brazil. Meanwhile, the award for the Best Animated feature was won by Flow. ‘No Other Land’ won the award for the Best Documentary Feature.
‘Wicked’ won the award for the Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. Meanwhile, the Best Hair-style and make-up artists award was won by ‘The Substance’.
Dune: Part Two has won the awards for Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. On the other hand, in the categories of short films, ‘I’m Not a Robot’ won the Best live action short, ‘In The Shadow of the Cypress’ won Best animated short, and ‘The Only Girl in the Orchestra’ won for Best Documentary Short.
