Parineeti Chopra is on a social media break

MUMBAI: The internet has always been a cruel place when it comes to negativity, that is, trolling, cyberbullying, and passing derogatory remarks on a celebrity among other activities. Well, it makes even a thick-skinned star give up at one point of time. Something similar happened recently, after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Ever since the tragedy, social media has been buzzing with a lot of outrage over the existence of nepotism in Bollywood. A lot of biggies, including star kids, are coming at the receiving end of criticism, hatred and whatnot. B-townies like Sonakshi Sinha, Aayush Sharma, Saqib Saleem, Mudassar Khan, and Shashank Khaitan among many others have exited Twitter, citing negativity as the reason.

Now, Parineeti Chopra, who was Sushant's co-star in Shuddh Desi Romance, too, has followed the suit. Taking to her Instagram story, the actress shared the news of taking yet another break as a part of her 'social media detox'. She, however, didn't mention the reason behind. "Time for another social media detox... See you soon fam!" read Chopra's caption.

Parineeti was very devastated to come across the news of Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. Taking to her Instagram, she had shared a couple of their beautiful pictures.

In her caption, Parineeti revealed that she will always miss him. "Sush. I will miss you buds," wrote the actress with broken heart emoticons.
