Demi Lovato may be released from hospital soon
Singer-actress Demi Lovato, who allegedly nearly died following a drug overdose last week, is doing a lot better now and is expected to be released from the hospital this week.
Sources told tmz.com that Lovato has stabilised from her overdose and her team is making plans to send her to a rehabilitation centre.
The decision is ultimately the singer's, and it is said that the people closest to her, along with some of the people who work for her, are going to draw a line in the sand -- either go to a facility for help or lose their number.
One key person who works for Lovato told tmz.com they will quit if she doesn't check herself in.
The source said, "She could die if she doesn't, and that's not going to be on my watch that we did nothing."
According to sources, she fell off the wagon months ago and refused help, so everyone around her is nervous. They believe, however, that the overdose and the subsequent complications in the hospital have sufficiently scared her that she'll go to a live-in facility for extended treatment.
Charlie Sheen 'blacklisted' in Hollywood
Actor Charlie Sheen has filed paperwork to reduce the child support he has to pay his former wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, saying that he can no longer afford it as he has been blacklisted in Hollywood.
The actor claims he is nowhere near Hollywood's A-list anymore following his very public bust-up with Chuck Lorre, the creator of his hit TV show Two and a Half Men, and his big AIDS diagnosis revealation, reports suggest so.
He says he has been "blacklisted" and few people want to work with him these days.
"I have been unable to find steady work, and have been blacklisted from many aspects of the entertainment industry," he wrote in his bid to modify his support payments.
According to the documents, obtained by a publication The Blast, he currently pays Richards $20,000 per month to cover the expenses of their daughters Sam and Lola, and Mueller $55,000 per month for their twin sons Bob and Max.
Sheen was married to Richards from 2002 to 2006 and he divorced realtor and reality TV star Mueller in May, 2011 following three years of marriage. Both splits were acrimonious. In the paperwork, Sheen claims he is in a "dire financial crisis", and says his fortune has substantially dwindled in recent years.
He also states he owes millions to lawyers and the tax man, as well as bank mortgage payments.
A hearing has been scheduled for next month.

Aniston on 'misconceptions' that she 'can't keep a man'
Actress Jennifer Aniston has opened up about "misconceptions" that she can't have a stable relationship.
Aniston spoke to Jimmy Kimmel's wife and her friend Molly McNearney about false rumours about her love life and why she stays off social media, reports suggest so.
Aniston said, "The misconceptions are 'Jen can't keep a man' and 'Jen refuses to have a baby because she's selfish and committed to her career'. Or that I'm sad and heartbroken'. First, with all due respect, I'm not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions.
"No one knows what's going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don't know what I've been through medically or emotionally.
"There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they're deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn't to procreate. Maybe I have other things I'm supposed to do?"
The former Friends star had parted ways with former husband Justin Theroux in February 2018. She was previously married to actor Brad Pitt, but the couple finalised their divorce in the year 2005.

Asked what it's like to be a pin-up girl, the "Work" hitmaker told Vogue magazine, "OK, you are asking the wrong person. I do not know, maybe it's because I'm 'thicc' now. I do not know.
"I'm about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don't lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I'll lose some but not all. And I think of my b***s, like, 'Imma lose everything, everything goes!' But, you know, it comes with a price. You want to have a b***, then you have a gut."
Rihanna also said that she's become increasingly wary of the people she surrounds herself with, as per media reports.
The chart-topping star said she has become more savvy over time.

"I've been out here on my own since I was a teenager, so these people become like your family."
Rihanna previously said of being intimidated by her own fame, saying it can be poisonous.
She said she even dreams about being able to do normal, everyday things in life, like buying her own groceries.
"It's the thing I fear the most: to be swallowed up by that bubble. It can be poison to you, fame. I literally dream about buying my own groceries ... because it is something that is real and normal," Rihanna said.
