"Podcasts Are Like Intimate Conversations, But Boundaries Matter": Raviraa Bhardwaj

MUMBAI: Raviraa Bhardwaj, a rising star known for her work in Aukaat Se Zyada and other projects, shared her views on the booming trend of podcasts. With celebrities increasingly turning to this medium to connect with their audiences, Raviraa believes podcasts offer a unique opportunity for both storytelling and authenticity.

“Podcasts are fantastic for storytelling and connection. They let people share their experiences in an unfiltered, authentic way. For listeners, it feels like being part of an intimate conversation,” she said. According to Raviraa, podcasts allow celebrities to go beyond their polished public images and reveal their real selves, making them more relatable and human.

However, she cautions that the openness podcasts encourage should come with clear boundaries. “It’s great to connect and share, but oversharing can invite unnecessary scrutiny or invade one’s privacy. Balance is important,” she added.

Raviraa also reflected on how audiences now expect more transparency from public figures. “In the past, celebrities were seen as distant, almost mythical. Today, people want authenticity and real stories. It’s inspiring to see celebrities talk about their struggles and successes, but there’s a fine line between openness and exposing too much.”

The actress touched upon how the digital age has blurred the lines between public and private life. Platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and podcasts make it easier for celebrities to share their personal and professional updates, but the constant demand for content can be overwhelming. “Privacy has become a conscious effort. Celebrities need to be intentional about what they share and protect what they want to keep private,” Raviraa emphasized.

As for life updates going viral, she believes it’s a personal choice. “It’s empowering when shared thoughtfully, but chasing virality for the sake of attention can compromise authenticity. For me, it’s about sharing what feels meaningful and keeping a part of my life just for myself.”

Raviraa’s balanced take on podcasts and celebrity culture highlights the need for authenticity while respecting personal boundaries in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
