Prime Video Showcases an Exciting Array of Upcoming Titles at the Annual Amazon Upfront Presentation

MUMBAI: This morning, Amazon hosted their annual Upfront Presentation - an event where the company showcased its upcoming content offerings to brands and advertisers. The star-studded event spotlighted how Amazon pushes the boundaries across entertainment, live streaming, sports, and advertising to blend premium entertainment, innovative technology, and unparalleled audience reach for advertisers. From blasted post-apocalyptic landscapes to beloved coming-of-age stories to action comedies about world leaders, Prime Video gave a thrilling tour of their upcoming lineup of Original Shows and Movies. And to help show off the slate of forthcoming releases, the presentation was joined by stars like Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Elizabeth Banks, Octavia Spencer, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael B. Jordan, John Cena, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

AMAZON MGM STUDIOS AND PRIME VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Spider-Noir - During Amazon’s annual upfront presentation, MGM+ and Prime Video unveiled a first-look image from the eagerly awaited Spider-Noir series coming in 2026. Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. 2. Delphi - Prime Video announced it has ordered Delphi to series.  Marco Ramirez will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Delphi is the first live-action series extension of the Creed Universe, focused on young boxers at the Delphi gym. Read full press release here

3. Fallout S3 - Prime Video announced that it has renewed its critically acclaimed global hit series, Fallout, for a third season. The move comes ahead of the show’s highly anticipated second season, which is set to premiere in December 2025. Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner also serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. To date, Fallout Season One has accumulated more than 100 million viewers worldwide, ranking among the service's top three most-watched titles ever. Read full press release here

4. Elle - Prime Video's Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle, will premiere in summer 2026. It follows the origin story of Elle Woods and comes from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media.

5. American Gladiators - MGM Alternative announced that WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will join as host of the action-packed U.S. reboot of the iconic competition series American Gladiators for Prime Video. Originating as a weekly U.S. syndicated show, American Gladiators burst onto screens in 1989 and quickly became the #1 watched sports entertainment shows around the world. The show returns with an exciting new take, and an All Star cast of Gladiators for the modern era. The competition will feature brand new events, as well incorporate some classics from the original series like “Gauntlet,” “Hang Tough,” and “The Eliminator.” Original seasons of the series are available to stream on newly launched American Gladiators’ FAST Channel on Prime Video. 6. Barbershop - Prime Video announced it has ordered Barbershop, starring Jermaine Fowler (Ricky Stanicky), to series. Marshall Todd (Barbershop, Woke) is writing and executive producing the series, with Max Searle (Neon, Dave) set as co-showrunner and executive producer. The series comes from global entertainment companyHartbeat, Prominent Productions, and State Street Pictures and is produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Read full press release here

7. Beast Games - Following the show’s record-breaking debut, Prime Video has renewedBeast Games, created and hosted by YouTube phenomenon MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson), for two additional seasons. The series was co-created and hosted by MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, featuring the biggest reality competition series ever, with 1,000 players competing for a $10 million cash prize in Season 1. Beast Games' debut season premiered on December 19, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. 8. Oh. What. Fun. - Prime Video announced that Oh. What. Fun., a holiday ensemble starring Michelle Pfeiffer as the Clauster family matriarch, will premiere exclusively on the streaming platform on December 3. Directed by Michael Showalter, the star-studded cast includes Denis Leary, Felicity Jones, Chloë Grace Moretz, Dominic Sessa, Devery Jacobs, Havana Rose Liu, Maude Apatow, Danielle Brooks, with Jason Schwartzman, Eva Longoria, and Joan Chen.

9. Untitled female CEO docuseries -Prime Video announced that it has ordered an untitled docuseries featuring prominent, multi-hyphenate female CEOs whose business ventures move center stage in their lives. Primary featured CEOs include legendary athlete and businesswoman Serena Williams, award-winning artist and “Queen of Latin Pop” Thalia; former model and fashion designer Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger; Market America | SHOP.COM CEO Loren Ridinger; supermodel, beauty entrepreneur, and founder of Cay Skin Winnie Harlow; founder of Conteur Capital and wellness expert Hannah Bronfman; and fashion and jewelry designer Isabela Rangel Grutman. 10. The Academy of Country Music Awards - In collaboration with the Academy of Country Music and producer Dick Clark Productions (DCP), Prime Video announced today the return of the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards on the service for the next three years, taking the show through its 63rd ceremony in 2028. 11. The Home Team: New York Jets - The Home Team: New York Jets is a six-part documentary series that follows six New York Jets players and their partners—including defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker—throughout the 2024-25 regular season. The series will provide an authentic peek into the emotional journey these players and their families go on over the course of a 17-week NFL season.

12. Sports Documentaries - Prime Video greenlit two new sports documentaries from Skydance Sports and NFL Films, including a six-part series following six New York Jets players and their partners throughout the 2024-’25 regular season and a feature-length documentary about Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens. Thursday Night Football- Thursday Night Football will feature two blockbuster holiday matchups during the 2025 NFL season.The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles host the Chicago Bears for Prime Video's third Black Friday Football game on November 28 in Week 13. Three weeks later, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos on Christmas night, December 25, in Week 17.The rest of the TNF schedule will be released Wednesday, May 14. Prime Video announced another lineup of movies and series, which includes Blade Runner 2099, Young Sherlock, Off-Campus, The Man with the Bag, Play Dirty, Balls Up, Merv, and The Wrecking Crew.
