MUMBAI: Some films are made from the heart. 'Manihar' is one such film which will take the audience on a nostalgic trip and make today's generations realise and aware of the charm and joy of simple living in villages of our country. The trailer of the culturally rooted film 'Manihar' was released on Tuesday where everyone including the cast and crew and many Bollywood dignitaries and special guests collectively celebrated the launch event of an unusually simple and heart touching film.

Directed by Sanjeev Kumar Rajput, originally the film 'Manihar' will be released on 14th June across the country. The new release date of the film was announced during the trailer launch.

The trailer was released at the IMPAA building at Veera Desai Road in Mumbai and the launch affair was an evening to remember for as not only the actors and makers of the film graced the occasion but many Bollywood celebrities joined the celebrations,King of comedy Johnny Lever, 'Welcome', 'No Entry' and 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' fame director Anees Bazmi, recently released 'Srikanth' fame director Tushar Hiranandani and 'Baazigar' and 'Khiladi' fame director duo Abbas Mustan Wished the filmmakers for the film's Success.

Based on the life of a bangle seller known as Manihars in rural towns, the film is a reminder of how we are forgetting our roots and traditions practiced in villages where most of the populations of the country reside.

An emotionally charged  and overwhelmed looking producer of the film Mayank Shekhar while talking about the film during the launch event said, "It takes a lot of courage and conviction for any film producer to make films based on rural life and villagers, a theme which has been forgotten by our filmmakers. Our movies are not culturally rooted any more and now nobody wants to make village centric films. But we decided to buck this trend and here we are with the first trailer of the film. I am sure the masses are going to love this film which will remind them of their own  villages".

The film has been presented under the banner of Jayshree Movie Productions and MS Studios  and it has been jointly produced by Mayank Shekhar and Namrata Singh and co - Produced by Alka Verma Manish Ojha and Anju Lata.

Badrul Islam will be seen as the bangle seller in the film whereas the other starcast of the film includes Pankaj Berry, Sunny Thakur, Roshni Rastogi, Ehsaan Qureshi, Krishna Bhatt, Ramesh Goyal who will be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie.
