MUMBAI: Earlier we have seen actress Taapsee Pannu has worked in the film 'Badla' which was backed by Shah Rukh Khan. And now, according to an update, the actress will be seen playing the leading lady in Rajkumar Hirani's film opposite SRK.
There were reports which suggested that Hirani was to make 'Munnabhai MBBS' Khan, however, the franchise rights are with Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Now, Hirani's upcoming film with Shah Rukh is a social comedy on immigration in which he will be essaying the role of an immigrant who moves from Punjab to Canada. This is the first time Taapsee will be sharing screen space with the superstar.
Meanwhile, Taapsee has just wrapped up the shooting of 'Loop Lapeta' and has begun shooting for Anurag Kashyap's 'Do-Baara'. The actress will begin shooting for a biopic on cricketer Mithali Raaj.
