MUMBAI: Hrithik Roshan has worked hard to be where he is today. Right from his debut film Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai, Hrithik has had an unbelievable screen presence that is hard to miss even today. With every film, Hrithik has gotten better and better with age and carved a niche for himself first as a romantic hero then as an action star.

Now, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, who is known to speak bluntly about the film industry has made some interesting revelations about Hrithik Roshan. On his Youtube channel, RGV said, “When I saw Hrithik Roshan, I didn’t think he would become a star. Most of the industry also did not think, because of which they didn’t sign him. Before his first film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai released, nobody signed him. And once he became a superstar everybody was after him.”
Reacting to his last couple of films tanking at the box office, Verma said, “Forget about the number of flops I’ve made. The fact that if you knew it, why would you make a flop? It is as simple as that.”
He further added, “So, when I say that I know how to make a film and then I make Shiva, how do I explain how I made Aag? Which means, Aag was by intention, Shiva was by accident. Why was it an accident? I already gave you the proof. If I knew what to do why did I do what I should not do. It is as simple as that. In both, my intention of making Shiva and Aag would be the same because I am spending one to one and a half years, time and effort and everything. Why would I do something which I do not think will work? Which means I thought it would work, which it didn’t.”
