MUMBAI: One of the most eagerly awaited spectacles in the history of Hindi cinema has finally begun to unfold.
The first look of Ramayana, helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, has taken the internet by storm, offering a tantalising preview of what promises to be a mythological epic of unprecedented scale.
The makers recently released a captivating three-minute teaser that has left audiences in awe, showcasing the film’s majestic visuals, spiritual depth, and cinematic brilliance.
The grandeur of the production has drawn comparisons to international blockbusters, with fans and critics alike calling it a masterpiece in the making.

Adding to the buzz, an exclusive source has revealed to TellyChakkar that Kannada superstar Yash, who portrays the mighty Raavan, will feature on screen for no more than 15 minutes in Ramayana: Part One.
However, this limited appearance is entirely intentional and aligns with the narrative structure of the film. The initial chapter of this epic saga focuses primarily on the journey of Ram, played by Ranbir Kapoor, alongside Sai Pallavi’s Sita and Ravi Dubey’s Laxman, as they leave Ayodhya for their exile (vanvaas).
Yash’s character will reportedly be introduced at the beginning of the film, with a glimpse into Raavan’s backstory, setting the stage for his more prominent role in the later instalments.
Another brief but impactful appearance is expected towards the end of the first part, during the pivotal moment of Sita’s abduction—a scene that marks a dramatic turning point in the narrative.
With a stellar cast, visionary direction, and an emotionally resonant storyline, Ramayana is shaping up to be a cinematic event that could redefine Indian mythology on screen. The anticipation continues to build, and if the first glimpse is anything to go by, audiences are in for an unforgettable journey.
Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for your daily dose of drama, entertainment, and heartfelt storytelling.
