MUMBAI: From the time Ramayana has been announced, there has been a lot of discussion about casting, choices, changes, musical chairs. For now, people know for a fact that Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol are part of the film.
When coming to the scale and budget, it's obviously massive so it's expected that for such a massively budgeted film, the top stars are also going to take home massive fees but what we have come to hear is that Yash is not going to be taking any fees for the film, instead, he has worked out a contract for which he's going to get a sizable share of the profit.
A very reliable source within the industry has informed us that Yash would be taking good percentage of the box office profits of the film, but provided that the film earns that much profit.
The moment the film earns that much profit at the box office, Yash's percentage will start. And as per the source, it's going to be a sizable percentage, probably even 20 to 30 percent of the shares. Coming to the other actors, including Ranbir Kapoor, the star of the show, they will all be getting their fees up front.
