Rani Mukerji has a great sense of "smell" in Aiyya

2012 can well prove to be a comeback year for Rani Mukerji with films like Reema Kagti's Talaash and Anurag Kashyap’s Aiyya up her sleeve. In the Anurag Kashyap produced film, Rani plays a character who has a strong sense of smell. Her sense of smell is so strong that this quality helps her make some crucial decisions in life. The central theme of the film is about a woman who finds herself her man because he smells good. The story takes a very crucial turn when she falls in love with him after smelling him. The film has Rani essay a middle class Marathi girl who woos the stranger Prithviraj, a Malayalee. Co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18, the film releases in the last week of October (2012). It is being directed by Sachin Kundalkar. Earlier, Rani has proved herself as an actress by playing powerful roles in films like Black, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, amongst others.
