MUMBAI: Actress Raveena Tandon was reportedly involved in a dispute involving a road rage incident. A few individuals attacked her driver as he was pulling her car up to her Mumbai bungalow. Raveena responded to the situation and thanked everyone for their support on Thursday, June 6. She also discussed the lesson that this experience taught her.

Raveena wrote on her Instagram story, "Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief, and support. Moral of the story? Get dashcams and CCTVs now! (sic)." She also showed the news report claiming the actor was given the clean chit in this case.

Earlier this week, a video went viral on social media where a woman can be seen complaining that Tandon's car hit her and the actor and her driver assaulted her. However, later a CCTV clip was released, which refuted the claim that the woman was hit by Raveena's car.

According to a popular news portal report, Tandon has received a clean chit in the incident. The police have denied the woman's claim that Raveena and her driver were inebriated.

Earlier, DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told the popular news portal that no case was registered against Raveena. He said, "Raveena (Tandon) was coming home. Her car was reversing. The lady who walked past got mad at her driver and said drive carefully. The car did not touch the lady, but a verbal spat ensued. Raveena got out and got into an argument. We don't have written complaints from either party, so there is no case."

A day after the incident, Kangana Ranaut released a statement supporting Raveena Tandon. She wrote on her Instagram story, "What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage outbursts. Those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour."

Raveena has resumed work following the incident. The actor was last seen in the movie ‘Patna Shuklla,’ and is now anticipating the release of the comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
