MUMBAI : Dada Kondke, the king of comedy in Marathi cinema, continues to bring joy to audiences even decades after his prime. His films, filled with hearty laughter and subtle messages, remain timeless. To honor this legacy, Zee Talkies is set to offer a special treat for Kondke’s fans.

In a recent interview, veteran actor Raza Murad shared a delightful memory from the sets of the 1988 hit movie "Aage Ki Soch." He recounted, "During the shoot of 'Aage Ki Soch,' Dada Kondke treated me to a traditional Maharashtrian dish of yellow potato curry. The taste left a lasting impression on me, embodying the essence of Maharashtra. Dada's simplicity and affection were truly mesmerizing. Working with him was an unforgettable experience."

"Aage Ki Soch," which was released in 1988, continues to entertain with its humorous and engaging storyline. It tells the tale of Ganpat, a simple and honest man from a village who makes a living by selling goods with his rented bullock cart. His life changes when he meets Sapna, a beautiful woman whose car breaks down in his village. Ganpat's humor and straightforward nature captivate Sapna and her friends, leading to a memorable four-day journey. The plot thickens when Sapna returns as a married woman, leaving Ganpat shocked but silent about his feelings. Eventually, Ganpat’s mother urges him to accompany Sapna and her husband to the city for work.

Directed by and starring Dada Kondke, alongside a stellar cast including Shakti Kapoor, Swapna, Raza Murad, Huma Khan, Manorama Wagle, and Satish Shah, "Aage Ki Soch" was a massive hit. It showcased Kondke’s ability to evoke laughter effortlessly, even in Hindi.

Zee Talkies will premiere this comedy classic on Sunday, June 23rd, at 12 PM and 6 PM, with Hindi audio. This initiative allows even Hindi-speaking audiences to revel in the legendary humor of Dada Kondke.

So, mark your calendars! Celebrate a cheerful Sunday on June 23rd with "Aage Ki Soch" on Zee Talkies and indulge in the unparalleled comedy of Dada Kondke
