Revealed: Honey Singh's birthday bash in Dubai

Yo Yo Honey Singh may have cleaned out his act as a musician. At heart he remains a wild child... “Partying when he should be studying hard for examination”.... That’s Yo Yo Honey Singh’s self-description. The rocking rapper turned 31 today (15 March) with a very secret party in Dubai for which he flew to the city on 14 March with his very close friends. Yo Yo and his fellow-revellers from India partied hard, bringing in his birthday and then partying the whole day on 15 March. Yo Yo tried hard to hide his extended pleasure binge in Dubai with his friends. But finally he relented, “Yes, I flew into Dubai with my close friends and family for my birthday. I’ve been working really hard. So I deserve to party hard, right?” Right...so what was the pleasure agenda for the birthday? “Only friends from outside the film industry. All my close friends are people I knew before my Bollywood connection was strengthened. I hardly get time to spend with my close friends and family. My family has given up on me. They don’t bother me at all. They know this is the time for me to build my career. The family feels, ‘Issko joh karna hai karne doh.’ There is no interference or demand for my time from them. Phir toh mera farz banta hai to make sure that I spend time with them.” 31 is no age to get serious. So who says Honey Singh has any intentions to stop having a good time in life? “At 31 I feel I am 22. Actually I stopped growing when I was 22. In my heart and mind I’ll be 22 forever. Life is too beautiful to think of age. I was just a small boy from Punjab with big dreams. My parents thought I’d never make anything of my life. But I was sure of what I wanted to do. Today I feel I am in a dream. Mujhe lagta hai main ek bachcha hoon toy store mein. I don’t know what to pick up and what not to pick. My life is a shopping mall of options. I can pick up whatever I like,” says Yo Yo whose one unfulfilled desire is to do something to better the lives of under-privileged children. “When I see children go hungry, my heart bleeds. I want to work towards bettering the prospects of children who do not get enough to eat. If kids continue to go hungry how can I be happy singing? So my birthday wish is to not see a single hungry child in the country,” says Singh. We wish him a very Happy Birthday!!!
