MUMBAI: The SSR demise case is taking a new form with every passing day. Actress and prime suspect Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB for her connection with the drug cartel in Bollywood. Her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant's personal staff member Dipesh Sawant, and several others are in custody for allegedly procuring and transporting drugs.
Now as per the sources, the judicial custody of the actor's girlfriend has been extended until October 6.

She can face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty of drug abuse in the late actor's case.
SSR's talent manager Jaya Saha, Rhea, her brother, and former manager Shruti Modi are also expected to appear before the NCB, according to Times Now.
NCB is most likely to summon Bollywood actresses like Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan later this week. Deepika Padukone may also be called for a Q and A round as her name also came up in the drug chats.
