The season of heartbreak is here to stay or it seems, what with another pair biting the dust. Bollywood's most promising find Richa Chadda has apparently parted ways with her boyfriend French actor-director Franck Gastambide.
The two, who allegedly met during Richa's Cannes appearance last May, were said to be battling long distance issues. This high profile breakup rumour joins other cine splits of this year- Farhan Akhar-Adhuna, Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif and Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma. Is 2016 jinxed? We hope not.
If sources are to be believed, the Fukrey actress was apparently brushing up her French to communicate better with her beau. Moreover, she's said to have extended her stay in the US during a film festival to spend more time with him. But their professional commitments and distance seem to have rattled their paradise.
According to a popular website, "They (Richa and Franck) were very much in love but could not sustain the long distance relationship. Although Richa travelled to France on a few occasions just to be with him, her work schedule was not allowing her to devote enough time to the relationship. They were barely able to talk to each other. So, they decided to end it."
Till we get a confirmation from the actress herself, we will keep hoping for the best.
