The actress today took to her instagram handle and shared a lovely message, where she spoke about her grandfather, who was a surgeon in the Indian Army. After Independence, he fought all major wars until 1971.

Sharing this post, she wrote, “This is my Nanaji. He was a surgeon in the Indian Army. After Independence, he fought all the major wars till 1971. My mother tells me, whenever Nanaji would hear of a flood, earthquake, epidemic in another part of the country, he’d pack his bags and head there...in selfless service of the PEOPLE of this great COUNTRY... because people make a country... this to him was the Hippocratic Oath ... salute to all the doctors, medical professionals today ! We’re grateful for you !"
