RIP! THIS 44-year-old actor and film critic succumbs to his fatal accidental injuries 

Last month, South Indian actor, writer and film critic Kathi Mahesh had met with a deadly road accident. On 10th July, the actor succumbed to his month-old accidental injuries in Chennai. Many actors and celebrities pay their tribute to him.

MUMBAI: Actor, director and film critic Kathi Mahesh died on July 10 at around 4 pm. He was 44 years old. 

He had met with a fatal road accident on June 26 near Nellore, when his car rammed into a container truck. He was being treated at a hospital therein and was later shifted to a private hospital in Chennai. 

The Andhra Pradesh government had provided Rs 17 lakh for his treatment. 

Nani, Manoj Manchu and several other celebrities took to social media to pay last respects.

On June 26, Kathi Mahesh met with a road accident while he was returning to Hyderabad from his home in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. He was rushed to a hospital in Nellore for treatment. After battling for life for about two weeks, he breathed his last at a hospital in Chennai.

Reportedly, Kathi Mahesh's funeral will happen today, July 11. More details regarding the same are awaited.

In 2016, Kathi Mahesh started his career as a short filmmaker. He rose to prominence with his film reviews and was known for his sharp and controversial statements. He made his acting debut in Sampoornesh Babu's Hrudaya Kaleyam. 

Last seen in Ravi Teja's Krack, Mahesh had acted in films such as Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu.

Mahesh had also directed a film titled Pesarattu in 2015.

Soon after the news of Kathi Mahesh's demise spread, many of his followers took to social media to express their grief. Actors Nani, Manoj Manchu, Sudheer Babu and others paid tribute to Mahesh on social media.

Nani was shocked to hear the news of Mahesh's passing away. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Shocked to hear that Kathi Mahesh gaaru passed away. From what I’ve seen, he always tried to encourage films with unique content through his reviews. Strength to his family and friends (sic).".

Manoj Manchu wrote, "Shocked & saddened to hear the news about the demise of #KathiMahesh garu. My deep condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace! Om shanti (sic).".
