MUMBAI: Sai Tamhankar, one of Marathi cinema’s most celebrated stars, is making her presence felt in the Hindi film industry. After gaining much love and appreciation from the fraternity and audiences for films like Hunterr, Love Sonia, Mimi, Bhakshak and recently released Agni, 2025 is shaping up to be her busiest and most exciting year yet.

With multiple releases lined up across leading OTT platforms and a feature film, Sai’s star is shining brighter than ever.

The year kicks off with Secrets of Shiledars, a gripping Hotstar release directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (who previously directed the celebrated horror-comedy Munjya), streaming on January 31.

This will be followed by Netflix’s much-anticipated series Dabba Cartel, produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by Hitesh Bhatia along with a film set to release on OTT.

Adding to her packed schedule, mid year will see the release of her feature film Ground Zero, also backed by Excel Entertainment.

Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film stars Sai opposite Emraan Hashmi, and the combination of these two actors coming together is going to be a treat for her fans.

Sai’s recent success in Agni has already created ripples in the industry. Her portrayal of Rukmini, a strong-willed homemaker standing by her husband (played by Pratik Gandhi) in a story of resilience and survival, earned widespread acclaim.

Sai noted, “Playing Rukmini was emotionally intense yet incredibly rewarding. To see viewers connect with her struggles and resilience is truly heartwarming. The response motivates me to continue taking on challenging and meaningful roles.”

Having already cemented her legacy in Marathi cinema, Sai’s journey into Hindi films and series has demonstrated her versatility and magnetism as an actress. With Secrets of Shiledars, Dabba Cartel, Ground Zero, and more on her horizon, Sai Tamhankar’s 2025 promises to be a year of trailblazing performances, further bridging her star power in Hindi commercial cinema.

Reflecting on her jam-packed schedule, Sai shares her gratitude: “I know that 2025 will be a busy year for me. I am glad that my plate is full when it comes to the work front. This is a blessing, and I’m excited to bring diverse and impactful stories to the audience.”
