MUMBAI: Sai Tamhankar, one of Marathi cinema’s most celebrated stars, is making her presence felt in the Hindi film industry. After gaining much love and appreciation from the fraternity and audiences for films like Hunterr, Love Sonia, Mimi, Bhakshak and recently released Agni, 2025 is shaping up to be her busiest and most exciting year yet.
With multiple releases lined up across leading OTT platforms and a feature film, Sai’s star is shining brighter than ever.
The year kicks off with Secrets of Shiledars, a gripping Hotstar release directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (who previously directed the celebrated horror-comedy Munjya), streaming on January 31.
This will be followed by Netflix’s much-anticipated series Dabba Cartel, produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by Hitesh Bhatia along with a film set to release on OTT.
Adding to her packed schedule, mid year will see the release of her feature film Ground Zero, also backed by Excel Entertainment.
Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film stars Sai opposite Emraan Hashmi, and the combination of these two actors coming together is going to be a treat for her fans.
Sai’s recent success in Agni has already created ripples in the industry. Her portrayal of Rukmini, a strong-willed homemaker standing by her husband (played by Pratik Gandhi) in a story of resilience and survival, earned widespread acclaim.
