Going by the shades of patriotism Salman Khan’s Mental has in it, producer Sohal Khan long with Salman and his team of advisors are contemplating re-titling the film Jai Ho.
The film, due to release on 24 January 2014, is tipped off as the big-ticket Republic Day Bollywood release.
Mental the remake of Chiranjeevi's Stalin that was directed by A R Murgadoss in 2006 had the lead protagonist as a Major in the Indian Army whose sole aspiration was to make the world a better place for civilians to live in.
Meanwhile, Sohail has trashed rumours that his upcoming film will be made in 3D. "We are shooting the film in 2D. Some technicians in our crew have suggested that we do some 3D portions. First, let me complete my film in the normal format. Then I`ll take a call," he said.
Here it may be stated that Salman wanted to do a film in 3D since long. As a matter of fact, when Sohail was making Sher Khan before Mental, the plan was to make a big spectacular epic in 3D. But things didn’t work out.
Salman is now interested in converting parts of Mental into 3D but on condition that the process doesn`t dent the new release date.
But right now it looks like that the top priority of the unit is to complete the film for release.
