With hard-hitting dialogues, action scenes, and chase sequences, Rani Mukerji as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy proved her brilliance as an actress not once, but twice. In 2014's Mardaani, she set out to confront the mastermind behind a child trafficking mafia. While in 2019's Mardaani 2, she vowed to catch and bring a psychopath working for a politician to justice. Following the success of both the films, the production house also announced a third installment in the Mardaani series with Rani reprising her role.
